Second Stage Round 12: BG Lulea - LF Future 70-81

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked LF Future (6-6) won against on the road 7th ranked BG Lulea (3-9) 81-70 on Wednesday. BG Lulea was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 24-11 charge of LF Future, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 BG Lulea turnovers. Strangely BG Lulea outrebounded LF Future 54-36 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was DR Congolese center Tresor Saya (203-84) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Emanuel Lindback (199-91) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Joel Svensson (184-94) who recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Five LF Future and four BG Lulea players scored in double figures. LF Future have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-6 record, which they share with Akropol and Alvik Basket. BG Lulea at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. LF Future will face Orongo Dragons (#8) in Sundsvall in the next round. BG Lulea will play at home against Orongo Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
