Second Stage Round 12: Talje - Haga Haninge 76-67

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Haga Haninge (3-11) was defeated on the road by first ranked Talje Knights (13-1) 76-67 on Wednesday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-12. But Haga Haninge won second period 17-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Ludvig Swanstrom (196-96) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Adam Ramstedt (206-95) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Niklas Radvall (190-82) who recorded 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Bjorn Johansson (190-83) added 9 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Talje Knights have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Haga Haninge lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. Talje Knights will face Helsingborg (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Haga Haninge will play against Helsingborg (#3) and hope to win that game.
