The game between closely ranked teams ended with Stabill Jezioro's (6-20) home victory over Kotwica (4-21) 93-65 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Stabill Jezioro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kotwica's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Chaisson Allen (192-89, college: Northeastern) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. His fellow American import power forward Nicchaeus Doaks (201-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Stabill Jezioro players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Terell Parks (204-91, college: W.Illinois) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Rafal Bigus (214-76, college: Villanova) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stabill Jezioro will face Asseco in Gdynia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kotwica will play at home against Polpharma (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
