There was no surprise in Aldeota where 9th ranked SKY/Basquete (15-17) was defeated by first ranked Flamengo (26-6) 88-81 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-81. Flamengo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard George Yeye Torres (188-91) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 assists and the former international Marcelo Magalhaes (201-75, agency: Interperformances) who added 20 points during the contest. Four Flamengo players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Felipe Ribeiro (201-79) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Nick Williams (193-89, college: Mississippi) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. SKY/Basquete's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Flamengo maintains first position with 26-6 record. SKY/Basquete lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 17 games lost.
