Kayseri defeated Mersin away from home and completed the sweep of the series. Mersin was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Kayseri, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Mersin outrebounded Kayseri 40-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Naturalized American LaToya Sanders (191-86, college: N.Carolina) notched 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American Tanisha Wright (180-83, college: Penn St., agency: LBM Management) supported her with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Kayseri players scored in double figures. Kayseri's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds by American center Courtney Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) did not help to save the game for Mersin. Croatian swingman Ana Lelas (183-83) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts.
