Undefeated leader Rayos de Hermosillo delivered the fifth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (1-2) 88-77. The game was mostly controlled by Rayos de Hermosillo. Ostioneros de Guaymas managed to win second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rayos de Hermosillo forced 23 Ostioneros de Guaymas turnovers. American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St.) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and international point guard Steve Monreal (180-86, college: CS Monterey) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.
