Rather predictable result when third ranked BC Rakvere (23-9) smashed at home 6th ranked Tln Kalev (14-18) 101-66 on Friday. The game without a history. BC Rakvere led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Rakvere outrebounded Tln Kalev 41-29 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Tln Kalev's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Latvian forward Maris Laksa (207-81, college: Providence) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and international point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) who added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Turkish power forward Dennis Mims (206-80, college: Indiana, PA) responded with 5 points and 11 rebounds and guard Mario Paiste (184-89) scored 11 points. Tln Kalev's coach Kalle Klandorf gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. BC Rakvere have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 23-9 record having seven points less than leader TU/Rock. Loser Tln Kalev dropped to the fifth place with 18 games lost.
