Semi-Finals Game 1: Keltern - Speyer 76-60

Keltern toppled Speyer and raced to 1-0 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Gruner Stern Keltern. Speyer / Schifferstadt managed to win third quarter 17-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Shakara Jones (187-88, college: Missouri) fired 18 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Canadian guard Brittany Moore (168-89) chipped in 18 points. Four Gruner Stern Keltern players scored in double figures. Gruner Stern Keltern's coach Peter Kortmann used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Canadian forward Kathryn Verboom (179-86) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Mandy Muller (183-86) added 16 points respectively for lost side.
