Targoviste upset Brasov and paved their way into the next round of playoffs. The game without a history. CSM Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Brasov's 38. The best player for the winners was American-FYR Macedonian Chrissy Givens (180-85, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Hungarian guard Fanni Hutlassa (185-88, college: FIU, agency: TSS Management) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five CSM Targoviste players scored in double figures. American forward Carla Bartee (182-85, college: Mississippi) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian point guard Zdenka Kovacevic (170-87) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Brasov's coach Daniel Calancea already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
