Ninth ranked Rotterdam won an overtime thriller against 7th ranked Leeuwarden by one point 96-95 on Saturday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Leeuwarden won third quarter 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Leeuwarden used huge pressure winning it 24-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 10-11. Rotterdam made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. American guard La'Shard Anderson (185-89, college: Boise St.) scored 28 points, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Robert Krabbendam (213-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Court Side) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest.
