Very important is a road loss of KK Zabok (7-2) against Djuro Djakovic (2-7) on Saturday night. Visiting KK Zabok was defeated by Djuro Djakovic in a tough game in Slavonski Brod 84-88. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-84. Forward Bruno Celebija (202-86) notched 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Matej Karlovic (200-89) supported him with 21 points. Djuro Djakovic's coach Drazen Brajkovic used entire bench in such tough game. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by forward Petar Maric (196-87, college: Lincoln Trail CC, agency: XL Basketball Agency) did not help to save the game for KK Zabok. Forward Marin Zrnic (200-88) added 17 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Four Djuro Djakovic and five KK Zabok players scored in double figures. Djuro Djakovic will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KK Zabok will play against Krizevci and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
