Leading Okinawa GK (37-8) recorded its eighth loss on the court of fifth ranked Niigata Albirex. Visitors were defeated by Niigata Albirex 79-68. The game without a history. Niigata Albirex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) accounted for 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Kibwe Trim (208-84, college: Sacred Heart) added 10 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Okinawa GK in the defeat. Niigata Albirex maintains fifth place with 27-19 record. Okinawa GK at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. Niigata Albirex will again play against league's leader Okinawa GK at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Okinawa GK will have a break next round.
