The game in Badajoz supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked ADBA (12-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Cafe Barco (8-13). ADBA smashed Cafe Barco 69-45. The game was mostly controlled by ADBA. Cafe Barco was better in third quarter 15-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cafe Barco to just 4 points in first quarter and to 14 points in first half. ADBA dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Cafe Barco's 24. They outrebounded Cafe Barco 54-29 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Pamela Moral (175-82) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Portuguese power forward Debora Escorcio (186-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four ADBA players scored in double figures. ADBA's coach Yolanda Mijares felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Maria Bolonio (180-85) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Regina Gomez (173-82) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively. ADBA moved-up to fourth place in Group A. Newly promoted Cafe Barco keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. ADBA's next round opponent will be Pabellon Ourense (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. Cafe Barco will play against Oviedo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
