Fifteenth-ranked Forli (9-18) made lots of trouble for third ranked Angelico Biella (19-9) on Sunday. The visitors from Biella managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 18-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Angelico Biella dominated on the defensive end, holding Forli to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Strangely Forli outrebounded Angelico Biella 44-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Hungarian forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Luca Infante (204-82) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and forward Nicholas Crow (199-89) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Angelico Biella have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Upea CdO. Loser Forli keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Angelico Biella will meet at home Tezenis VE (#5) in the next round. Forli will play against Pallacanestro Triest (#14) in Trieste and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
