Ward is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Even 24 points and 6 assists by naturalized Polish point guard David Michalczyk (180-89) did not help to save the game for Hertener Loewen. Max Schulze-Pals (202-90) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Five Herzoege Wolfenbuettel and four Hertener Loewen players scored in double figures.
