Second Stage Round 13: Polisen - Eagles 93-112

No shocking result in a game in Stockholm where second ranked White Eagles (10-4) smashed 7th ranked Polisen (5-9) 112-93 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by White Eagles. Polisen was better in third quarter 30-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Polisen 44-33 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. White Eagles shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Bosnian power forward Milos Trikic (203-90) fired 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners. Serbian center Dragoljub Kitanovic (203-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Five White Eagles players scored in double figures. White Eagles' coach Stefan Bergman used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Jesper Corell (174-91) produced 21 points and 7 assists and guard Emil Gullbrandsson (189-92) added 25 points respectively for lost side. White Eagles maintains second place with 10-4 record having six points less than leader Taby. Newly promoted Polisen dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost.
