There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Bambitious Nara (16-30) defeated on the road 7th ranked Oita Heat Devils (19-27) 73-67 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 15 points after three quarters before their 29-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) fired a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Adrian Moss (203-81, college: Florida) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Devonne Giles (203-83, college: Texas Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and forward Shuichi Takada (194-83) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Bambitious Nara maintains ninth position with 16-30 record. Loser Oita Heat Devils keep the seventh place with 27 games lost. Bambitious Nara will face Shimane Magic (#10) at home in the next round.
