No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked PMS Torino (18-10) defeated at home 6th ranked Sigma Barcellona (16-12) 86-76 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by PMS Torino. Sigma Barcellona was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80) fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five PMS Torino players scored in double figures. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and American-Bulgarian point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Newly promoted PMS Torino maintains fourth position with 18-10 record, which they share with Tezenis VE. Loser Sigma Barcellona keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. PMS Torino will face C.de Latte BRE (#9) in Brescia in the next round where they are favorite. Sigma Barcellona will play at home against Napoli Basket and hope to win that game.
