Semi-Finals Game 1: Bakken - Horsens IC 82-53

Bakken coasted past Horsens in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Horsens IC was better in third quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Horsens IC 49-29 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and international center Jonas Zohore Bergstedt (210-91) added 10 points in the effort for Horsens IC.
