Levski clinched the opening victory in the semifinal series. Neftochimic was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 25-12 charge of Levski, which allowed them to win the game. Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 22 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) accounted for 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American power forward Gloria Brown (187-89, college: UTEP, agency: Merit Management Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 21 rebounds and the other American import guard Lauren Bell (172-90, college: Pepperdine) added 13 points respectively for Neftochimic in the defeat.
