Important game to mention about took place in Radom. Fifth ranked Anwil (15-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Rosa Radom (16-11) 66-64 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Rosa Radom. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. American point guard Jordan Callahan (184-90, college: Tulane) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Mateusz Kostrzewski (200-89) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international Lukasz Majewski (198-82) answered with 22 points and the former international Robert Witka (205-81) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Rosa Radom. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Anwil maintains fifth place in Places 1-6 with 15-12 record. Rosa Radom at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. Anwil will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rosa Radom will play again on the road against Anwil (#5) in Wloclawek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
