An interesting game for Toshiba Thunders (43-7) which hosted in Kanagawa 3rd ranked Hokkaido L. (29-22). First ranked Toshiba Thunders had an easy win 95-79. The game was mostly controlled by Toshiba Thunders. Hokkaido L. managed to win second period 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Toshiba Thunders especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who scored that evening 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) supported him with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Even 27 points and 9 rebounds by forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: KMG Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Hokkaido L.. Power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toshiba Thunders have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 43-7 record. Hokkaido L. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the third place with 22 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
