Quarter-Finals Round 2: Saarlouis - Wasserburg 59-82

Wasserburg cruised past Saarlouis on the road to enter the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. TV Saarlouis Royals was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for TSV 1880 Wasserburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The former international guard Svenja Brunckhorst (179-91) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five TSV 1880 Wasserburg players scored in double figures. American swingman Kayla Tetschlag (182-89, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Keisha Hampton (187-90, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. TV Saarlouis Royals' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
