Semi-Finals Game 2: Gruenberg - BG 89 Avides 57-68

BG 89 Avides snatched a narrow victory over Gruenberg to advance into North Final. The game was mostly controlled by Rotenburg/Scheessel. Baskets Grunberg managed to win third quarter 14-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rotenburg/Scheessel dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Baskets Grunberg's 24. American guard Janae Young (183-87, college: Pacific) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Emma lina Stach (175-96) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Rotenburg/Scheessel's coach Christian Greve used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Isabell Meinhart (176-94) responded with 18 points and guard Elisabeth Dzirma (178-94) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds.
