The most shocking disappointment of round 27 was a road defeat of 5th ranked G.Canaria 2014 (16-11) to eighth ranked Cajasol (14-13) 73-60. The game was mostly controlled by Cajasol. G.Canaria 2014 managed to win third quarter 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded G.Canaria 2014 70-53 including a 45-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cajasol looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 38 personal fouls committed by G.Canaria 2014 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Argentinian Marcos Mata (199-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Czech center Ondrej Balvin (217-92) helped adding 12 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
