Very expected game when 10th ranked Weert (3-32) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Leiden (21-13) 91-72. The game without a history. Leiden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-33 charity shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Leiden outrebounded Weert 33-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. International power forward Josh Duinker (210-89, college: Richmond) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International Worthy de Jong (194-88) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners.
