Very predictable result when second ranked Valencia Basket (24-3) defeated at home 13th ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (10-17) 75-62. It looked good early as Baloncesto Fuenlabrada took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Valencia Basket had a 29-15 second period charge getting the lead and Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-75. They outrebounded Baloncesto Fuenlabrada 76-57 including a 35-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Valencia Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. 36 personal fouls committed by Baloncesto Fuenlabrada helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Central African swingman Romain Sato (194-81, college: Xavier) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds.
