A very interesting game took place in Trieste. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 15th ranked Forli (9-19) to fourteenth ranked Pallacanestro Triest (11-18) 78-75 in the game for the fourteenth place. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-15. But Forli won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Forli 40-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Michele Ruzzier (178-93) who scored 25 points and 7 assists. American swingman Will Harris (197-86, college: Albany) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) produced 23 points and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Pallacanestro Triest maintains fourteenth place with 11-18 record. Forli lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Pallacanestro Triest's next round opponent will be higher ranked Novipiu Casale (#12) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Forli will play against C.de Latte BRE and hope to win that game.
