Regular Season Round 29: Lighthouse TR - Trento 79-81

Tenth-ranked Lighthouse TR (14-15) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Trento (20-8) in Trapani on Sunday. The visitors from Trento managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lighthouse TR won third quarter 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Brandon Triche (193-91, college: Syracuse) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Andrea Renzi (209-89, agency: Players Group) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lighthouse TR. Four Lighthouse TR players scored in double figures. Trento maintains first place with 20-8 record. Newly promoted Lighthouse TR keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Trento are looking forward to face Angelico Biella (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lighthouse TR will play against PMS Torino (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
