Bnei Hasharon (#11) forced the game against Maccabi Rishon (#10) into an overtime, but lost by five points 87-92. The hosts were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 22-20 run, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. Maccabi Rishon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Eilat (#4) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
