Date: April 16, 2014
There was no surprise when 9th ranked Maccabi Rishon (9-19) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Hapoel Eilat (18-10) 84-76 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-76. At the losing side American forward Tasmin Mitchell (201-86, college: LSU) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Shawn Dawson (193-93) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Hapoel Eilat and four Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures. Maccabi Rishon's coach Zvi Sherf rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
