An interesting game for Amchit (14-4) which hosted in Amchit 4th ranked Byblos (11-7). Third ranked Amchit managed to get a 11-point victory 87-76. The game was mostly controlled by Amchit. Byblos managed to win third quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for the former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. French Ali Traore (208-85, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. American guard Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) replied with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 19 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Byblos. Amchit have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Riyadi and Sagesse. Byblos at the other side keep the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Moutahed.
