Regular Season Round 55: Hamamatsu P. - Bambitious Nara 87-70

No shocking result in a game in Mikawa where third ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (27-22) defeated 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (17-32) 87-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Hamamatsu Phoenix. Bambitious Nara was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Bambitious Nara's players. American guard Jermaine Dixon (191-87, college: Pittsburgh) fired 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. point guard Oishi Shinnosuke (174-87) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Hamamatsu Phoenix and four Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hamamatsu Phoenix maintains third place with 27-22 record having twelve points less than leader Okinawa GK. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the ninth position with 32 games lost. Hamamatsu Phoenix will face again Bambitious Nara (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
