Wels are now 2-1 up on Gmunden following a home victory on Sunday. It looked good early as Gmunden Swans took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Raiffeisen Wels took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 10 points. Raiffeisen Wels outrebounded Gmunden Swans 31-20 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American point guard Zamal Nixon (186-89, college: Houston) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 6 assists. Ghanian-American guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe (188-88, college: N.Iowa) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Raiffeisen Wels players scored in double figures. American point guard Jonathan Lee (188-90, college: Northeastern, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and international Richard Poiger (202-87) added 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Gmunden Swans.
