Gussing upset Oberwart on the road to take 2-1 lead in the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 35-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Gussing Knights dominated on the defensive end, holding Redwell Gunners Oberwart to just 7 points in third quarter. 24 personal fouls committed by Redwell Gunners Oberwart helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
