Leader Aishin Sea Horses delivered the 41th victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Tsukuba R. (8-45) 103-53 in Kariya. The game without a history. Aishin Sea Horses led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Tsukuba R.'s 36. They outrebounded Tsukuba R. 39-24 including a 29-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international point guard Shinsuke Kashiwagi (183-81) fired 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. International forward Sean Hinkley (200-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. American power forward Lamar Sanders (198-84, college: Lamar) produced 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Justin Reynolds (206-88, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Aishin Sea Horses (41-12) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Tsukuba R. lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 45 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face league's second-placed Wakayama T. on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
