The game in Osaka was also quite interesting. 4th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (26-24) played at the court of sixth ranked Osaka Evessa (22-28). Osaka Evessa managed to secure a 6-point victory 72-66 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fukuoka Rizing. Fukuoka Rizing was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Osaka Evessa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by swingman D'Andre Bell (198-87, college: Georgia Tech) who scored that evening 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) supported him with 9 points and 5 assists. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) did not help to save the game for Fukuoka Rizing. Forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osaka Evessa maintains sixth position with 22-28 record. Loser Fukuoka Rizing keeps the fourth place with 24 games lost. They share the position with Aomori Watts. Osaka Evessa will meet Shimane Magic (#10) on the road in the next round. Fukuoka Rizing will play against Shiga L-Stars (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
