No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (16-13) beat 9th ranked Maccabi Rishon (9-20) in Rishon Le-Zion 87-71. The game was mostly controlled by Ironi Nes-Ziona. Maccabi Rishon was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ironi Nes-Ziona dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Maccabi Rishon's 30. Ironi Nes-Ziona players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Tyler Honeycutt (203-90, college: UCLA) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists.
