Khimik cruised past BC Donetsk in Yuzny to secure 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by BC Donetsk's players. American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) scored 12 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian Rolands Freimanis (206-88) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Khimik players scored in double figures. Forward Oleksandr Antypov (202-95) responded with 18 points and international swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) scored 8 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
