There was a minor upset when 4th placed Tochigi Brex (31-23) lost at home to sixth ranked Chiba Jets (18-36) 93-88 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Guard Yuta Miyanga (183-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Chris Braswell (206-89, college: Charlotte) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Yuta Tabuse (173-80, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Tochigi Brex. Five Chiba Jets and four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. Chiba Jets moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hitachi SR. Loser Tochigi Brex dropped to the third position with 23 games lost.
