Regular Season Round 57: Shiga L-Stars - Fukuoka Rizing 81-68

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Shiga L-Stars (26-25) beat at home 4th placed Fukuoka Rizing (26-25) 81-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-68. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) stepped up and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Marshall Brown (199-85, college: Missouri) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing and Aomori Watts. Shiga L-Stars will face again Fukuoka Rizing (#5) at home in the next round.
