Regular Season Round 58: Shinshu BW - Gunma 105-91

Not a big story in a game in Nagano where 9th ranked Gunma (13-39) was defeated by fourth ranked Shinshu BW (33-19) 105-91 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Shinshu BW. Gunma was better in fourth quarter 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shinshu BW looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. American players dominated the game. Power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Carlos Dixon (201-81, college: Virginia Tech) produced 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists and center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St.) added 18 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Four Shinshu BW and five Gunma players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shinshu BW have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 33-19 record. Gunma lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 39 games lost.
