Semi-Finals Game 3: Azovmash - Budivelnyk 91-73

Azovmash avoided elimination with a convincing victory in Mariupol tonight. The game was mostly controlled by Azovmash. Budivelnyk was better in second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Azovmash players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for international forward Kyryl Natyazhko (207-90, college: Arizona, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Dmytro Zabirchenko (192-84, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) helped adding 21 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five Azovmash players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward DaJuan Summers (203-88, college: Georgetown, agency: Priority Sports) with 19 points and Latvian point guard Janis Strelnieks (191-89) scored 8 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
