Semi-Finals Game 3: BC Donetsk - Khimik 79-91

Khimik upset BC Donetsk on the road and advanced into Superleague Finals. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 48-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Khimik looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by BC Donetsk's players. It was a good game for American guard Jamal Shuler (191-86) who led his team to a victory with 32 points. His fellow American import Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Khimik players scored in double figures. Khimik's coach Karlis Muiznieks used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-87, agency: Beo Basket) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and international swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 21 points and 4 assists in the effort for BC Donetsk.
