Second Stage Round 10: Slask Wroclaw - AZS Koszalin 72-85

The biggest surprise of round 10 was guest AZS Koszalin's (18-14) road victory over their biggest opponent Slask Wroclaw (17-15) 85-72 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in Places 7-12. The game without a history. AZS Koszalin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game, while Slask Wroclaw only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Slask Wroclaw 38-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Slask Wroclaw helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor, agency: Three Eye Sports) fired 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) for the winners. Center Darrell Harris (205-84, college: Rhode Island) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Dominique Johnson (189-87, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) produced 20 points and center Paul Miller (208-82, college: Wichita St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. AZS Koszalin have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of Places 7-12 leader, which they share with Asseco. Newly promoted Slask Wroclaw dropped to the third place with 15 games lost.
