Semi-Finals Game 3: Wasserburg - Herner 87-58

Wasserburg edged Herner at home court to pave their way into Finals. The defending champions will now take on Oberhausen for the trophy. The game without a history. TSV 1880 Wasserburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. TSV 1880 Wasserburg forced 19 Herner TC turnovers. It was a great evening for American Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. International Anne Breitreiner (184-84) helped adding 17 points. Four TSV 1880 Wasserburg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Teya Wright (185-89, college: Providence) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Quenese Davis (177-88, college: San Diego St.) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
