Second Stage Round 10: Stabill Jezioro - Asseco 75-84

Leader Asseco recorded the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Stabill Jezioro (7-25) 84-75 in Tarnobrzeg. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Stabill Jezioro won third quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asseco dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Stabill Jezioro's 38. American point guard A.J. Walton (184-90, college: Baylor) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Russian Fedor Dmitriev (204-84, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 17 points. Five Asseco players scored in double figures. Asseco's coach David Dedek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Chaisson Allen (192-89, college: Northeastern) did not help to save the game for Stabill Jezioro. His fellow American import swingman Kevin Goffney (196-86, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Asseco maintains first position in Places 7-12 with 18-14 record, which they share with AZS Koszalin. Stabill Jezioro at the other side keeps the fifth place with 25 games lost.
