Finals Game 4: Levski - Dunav 8806 71-73

Dunav 8806 stayed in the title chase. They upset Levski in Sofia tonight and forced the decisive fifth game in the title series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Levski won fourth quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dunav 8806 made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Dunav 8806 outrebounded Levski 39-27 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Levski helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kristina Santiago (185-89, college: Cal Poly - SLO, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Zornitsa Kostova (176-82) who added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Dunav 8806 players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) and Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds.
