Finals Game 3: Fenerbahce - Galatasaray 81-61

Fenerbahce stayed alive in the TKBL title quest. They fired past Galatasaray to narrow the deficit at 1-2 in the title series. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce. Galatasaray managed to win third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Galatasaray 35-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American Angel McCoughtry (187-86, college: Louisville) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. The former international center Quanitra Hollingsworth (196-88, college: VCU) chipped in 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and Vincentian-Spanish center Sancho Lyttle (192-83, college: Houston) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
