Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb: Cedevita (#2) and KK Zagreb (#6). KK Zagreb was crushed at home by 29 points 73-102 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. KK Zagreb was better in fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: XL Basketball Agency) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Ivan Novacic (201-85) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KK Zagreb in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cedevita (6-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of Places 1-8 leader, which they share with Cibona and Zadar. KK Zagreb at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Cedevita will play against league's second-placed KK Zadar on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KK Zagreb will play against Jolly (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
